Our webmaster communicates with users through e-mail messages. Our approach prioritizes contextual help and page warnings in order to help users distinguish official communications from piracy attempts, phishing, or spam.

Partner Services

At times, you may be invited to use a service that is provided by a partner (e.g., downloading Adobe Flash from Adobe.com ) and hosted on the partner's website. These third-party services are generally identified and carry the partner's logo along with the partner's conditions of use.

Should your intellectual property rights be violated through one of our services, we ask you to notify us promptly (info@athero.org). Linking to the IAS Website

The IAS agrees that you may have a simple link from your website to ours; however, you must first ask our permission. You are not allowed to link to us if you engage in illegal or offensive content, or if the link in any way has a negative impact on the reputation or tax status of the IAS and/or of any of its affiliates, officers, employees and any content provider to this website.

Please refer to and use the following guidelines when setting up a link to the IAS Website

  1. The IAS does NOT endorse companies, products or services, and strictly prohibits any suggestion of endorsement, recommendation, or superiority of one company, product or service over another company, product or service.
  2. The IAS does not allow framing of its Website. When setting up a link to the IAS’s Website, the IAS’s site should open in a new Web browser window rather than displaying the pages in a frame of the linking site’s Web template, when frames are used in the site’s design.
  3. Links directly to the IAS’s Website should be text-only and you may not use the IAS’s stylized logo as a link, as our logo cannot be shown on your site without explicit permission.
  4. The IAS does not allow other Websites to copy and reuse information or material(s) from the IAS’s Website unless the source is cited.
  5. When the IAS’s Website includes links to other sites, the IAS does not assume any responsibility or liability for any communications or materials available at the sites to which it links, including responsibility or liability for their accuracy. No link on the IAS’s Website is a referral or endorsement of either the linked-to entity or any product or service. Such links are provided for convenience only.

Exception: The exception to this rule is when a legal agreement is in place which directly specifies that a logo can be used on another party's Website. The logo must be accompanied by a proclaimer that explains the nature of the IAS’s relationship with the other party. However, the logo itself cannot be used as a link; the logo can be on the Website but the link itself must be text only.

The IAS reserves the right to add, modify and delete these Conditions at any time at the IAS's sole discretion.
